Hello and a warm welcome to our YPW Studio website.
I have been teaching Yoga classes to children and adults locally for a number of years. In that time I have worked in many and varied locations taking my students, teaching and equipment yoga mats, blankets, blocks and belts along. As founder of YPW studio I am thrilled to have finally found a home, a place where we can build a ‘Sangha’, a community and settle in, teach Yoga, Pilates, Wellbeing Classes, Workshops and Courses and grow from there.
I have been lucky to have some wonderful supportive inspiring teachers over the years that I have practiced Yoga with. For me, the main inspiration is my students. I hope that you will come to YPW and try a class and or a workshop.

I have been teaching yoga in Manchester since 2001, and in that time have continuously worked hard to make yoga accessible to hard to reach groups.In the yoga studios I was involved in setting up it was always my intention to create welcoming ,affordable classes as everyone deserves the chance to find peace and well being regardless of their financial status.
I have been involved in working with vulnerable young women, homeless men, women in recovery, adults with additional needs and currently teach within the prison system.
I teach therapeutic yoga which is informed by years of training with inspirational and knowledgable teachers and for the last 11 years my teaching and practice has been deeply influenced by my studies with my teachers the Mohan family (svastha.net) completing Yoga therapy training with Dr Ganesh Mohan and continuing my studies of the Yoga Sutras with AG and Indra Mohan.
I am delighted to be able to support YPW and look forward to helping the residents of Radcliffe support their own well being with the very practical tools that yoga can offer.
My classes are mindful and uplifting and all are welcome.

Yin & Yang Yoga Teacher
As an avid runner, Kelly has always understood the benefits and importance of stretching but it wasn't until living in rural New Zealand that she discovered yoga.
After attending a local class, she was hooked and slowly began to feel both the physical and mental benefits yoga has to offer. Kelly continued her practice, until ten years later when she decided to train as a yoga teacher in Australia teaching in studios throughout Melbourne.
Now Kelly, a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, is also a Certified Pilates Instructor - depending her knowledge of anatomy and movement. Over time, her practice has evolved and strengthened, finding her own style, providing a soft, gentle and nurturing environment as well as a strong and alignment based practice.
Combining the elements of Yin and Yang into a 75 minute practice, the first part class (the Yang) begins with fluid movements, exploring and moving the body, strengthening muscles, mobilizing joints and incorporating breath-work. The class then moves into the Yin element; longer, deeper, more restorative postures to relax the mind and the body as well as improve flexibility, open muscles, release tension and promote relaxation.
Pilates & Yoga teacher
Suzanne has been teaching Pilates & Yoga classes for many years in Manchester.
She teaches Mat, Mind & Body Pilates classes with an emphasis on building strength and flexibility in the body. Her Yoga classes are very mindful. Gentle easy flow with an emphasis on coming back to the breath, to centre and focus. Suzanne believes that the body is a good way in which we can express ourselves, when we are free from tension, pain, discomfort. After spending her early years as a professional dancer Suzanne has found through her own personal practice of Yoga & Pilates that ease in her own body and self and loves sharing in her classes with her students the very many benefits for body, mind and breath from the practices of Pilates & Yoga.

I have been practicing yoga for 30 years and been teaching for 10 years. I gained my BWY diploma under the guidance of Rosemary Bennett /Swami Premanada @ Liverpool Hope University in 2010
Learning from an early age ( my dad was a yogi back in the 70’s when western yoga had just arrived! Always a forward thinker he went on to inspire me with this wonderful magical practice of yoga from my early years.
I then picked up my yoga practice again in my early 20’s as most people do as a way to keep fit, but it soon developed into an absolute necessity for overcoming the stress of daily living and I then realised it was something I could never be without.
Over the years I have studied with a wide range of teachers, styles and traditions of yoga including traditional Hatha Yoga, Iyengar, Kundalini and Tibetan yoga. Each teacher along my path have strongly influenced me in some way, my journey still teaches me that If you embrace yoga into your life the learning never ceases and the desire to learn grows more each day.
My style of teaching is a disciplined yet flowing style which blends precision in alignment with my love of movement, and the power of meditation, mantra and pranayama.

I began attending a weekly Yoga class almost forty years ago. Sixteen years ago I trained as a British Wheel of Yoga Teacher and have taught regular Yoga classes in the Bury area since 2003. I have also attended numerous Yoga retreats, working with many well respected Tutors as well as having recently qualified as a Reiki Practitioner Level 2.
I passionately believe in the benefits of a yogic lifestyle and endeavour to make my classes light hearted and inclusive.
Pregnancy Yoga Teacher
I have been practicing yoga for five years and I have been working as a midwife for almost 20.
I came to yoga relatively late in life and often wish I had started earlier. I have felt strengthened and nourished – physically and mentally - by the practice of yoga and I am excited about the opportunity to share this with others.
It occurred to me early on in my own practice that the benefits of yoga for pregnant women, especially those facing difficulties in life, could be endless. I was keen to find a way of combining my growing passion for yoga with my role as a Specialist Mental Health Midwife. To this end I completed the Yogacampus Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training 2018 and I am delighted to now have the opportunity to offer Pregnancy Yoga in the heart of Radcliffe.
I believe that pregnancy is a time of great change, challenge and possibility. It can also be a time of great stress and anxiety and it is here that Yoga can really come into play. I hope my classes will help pregnant women discover the joys of this and enable them to strengthen the body and calm the mind in preparation for birth and beyond.
